Miracle Dumplings have been served at Mountain Palace Northern Chinese Eatery since its opening in July, 2011. We specialize in authentic northern Chinese food in our rustic eatery setting and wanted to offer this delicious Chinese staple to our friends outside the immediate eatery area.
Miracle Dumplings were created by Lingzhi Cai, M.D., Ph.D. to provide a healthy and tasty food from her native northern China. Dr. Cai conducts medical research in the area of diabetes and obesity. She is committed to providing healthy alternatives in people’s food choices.
Miracle Dumplings are convenient and easy to prepare. They remain frozen until ready for preparation. Water is brought to a hard boil. The desired number of Miracle Dumplings are placed in the boiling water where they sink like stones. As they are gently stirred they float to the top. When they begin to expand they are ready. Perfect for dorm rooms or an easy meal after a tiring work day!
